Ginger and Turmeric Tonic

A warm mug of ginger and turmeric tonic with steam rising.
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a gentle simmer.
  2. Add the grated ginger and turmeric. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and strain the liquid into a mug.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice, honey, and a pinch of black pepper.
  5. Enjoy warm.

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp raw honey
