Immunity-Boosting Elderberry Syrup
A powerful, traditional syrup to support the immune system during cold and flu season.

Instructions
- Pour water into a medium saucepan and add elderberries, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves.
- Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a simmer for about 45 minutes to an hour, until the liquid has reduced by almost half.
- Remove from heat and let cool enough to handle.
- Mash the berries carefully using a spoon or potato masher.
- Pour the mixture through a strainer into a glass bowl or jar.
- Once the liquid has cooled to lukewarm, add the honey and stir well.
- Pour the syrup into a glass bottle for storage.

- 2/3 cup dried black elderberries
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 2 tbsp fresh or dried ginger root
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 cup raw honey
